Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for residents in a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, monitor quality and presentation, and adapt to dietary needs while maintaining strict safety and sanitation practices.

You’ll also record production, manage stock, and support dining service tasks as required, contributing to a positive, enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
• You help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance
