Join Bickford Senior Living in Bloomington as a Cook, supporting the Kitchen Manager and preparing meals for residents in our Bread Basket dining experience. Follow menus, ensure proper temperatures, and interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.

Full-time and part-time schedules with benefits, daily pay, and a 401(k) plan with employer match are available. You will join a compassionate team dedicated to quality dining and outstanding care for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Ensure meal service follows Bickford's process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance dining.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans per dishwashing procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use Meal Order Information to follow diets, allergies and preferences.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
