Wilson House is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents, following menu plans and dietary requirements. Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Food preparation: cook meals per menu plans, nutritious and appetizing, honoring dietary requirements.
• Meal service: serve meals timely with high quality, proper portions and presentation.
• Kitchen maintenance: keep a clean, sanitary kitchen; proper storage/handling of supplies.
• Team collaboration: work with Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist in training new staff.
• Inventory control: assist with inventory and report shortages to Dietary Manager.
• Resident engagement: accommodate special dietary requests and preferences; ensure resident satisfaction.
