Arbors/Ivy Assisted Living in Ellington, CT is seeking a Cook for a full-time 32-hour schedule. You will prepare meals according to recipes, present dishes with pride, and connect with residents to gather feedback on dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and prepare recipes independently.
• Working knowledge of cooking fundamentals.
• Serve-Safe certification (or ability to obtain).
• Allergy awareness and anti-choking training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, dietary needs, and safety guidelines.
• Present food with care, pride, and attention to detail.
• Step out to connect with residents and gather feedback.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
