Ebenezer, the employer behind Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Cook/Chef to join our culinary team in a Senior Living Community.

In this full-time role you will prepare meals from standardized recipes, ensure proper temperatures, and plate dishes for resident dining, with day shifts and every other weekend as described. Strong safety and kitchen sanitation practices are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years culinary experience.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Food handlers certification within 90 days or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation.
• Cook foods to specified temperatures.
• Meet temperature and quality standards.
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency.
• Weigh and measure ingredients per recipes.
• Use correct portioning utensils.
• Assemble food within time frames.
• Production and meal service on schedule.
• Prepare bakery items per recipes.
• Complete daily prep sheets.
• Assist with special events.
