Job summary

DMK Development Group is seeking a Superintendent to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure OSHA safety compliance, and manage jobsite coordination using Procore and Lean tools.

You’ll lead progress meetings, review drawings and specifications, and assist with change orders as needed. The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in senior housing or multi-family residential construction, strong communication skills, and a focus on organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervising crews in senior housing or multi-family residential commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software (Adobe/Bluebeam)
• Experience with Procore project management software preferred
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Monitor/coordinate subcontractors with PM to ensure project success
• Ensure jobsite activities comply with OSHA guidelines
• Effectively use Procore for QA/QC, daily logs, drawings & specs, photos, punchlists
• Lead jobsite coordination meetings using weekly work plan and Lean tools
• Assist with contractor scope vetting and change orders
• Lead and coordinate all inspections and approvals
• Maintain clean and organized jobsite and manage logistics
• Travel and onsite presence when work is occurring
