Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in West San Jose is seeking a Concierge for a senior living community. This full-time, non-exempt role pays $21-$23 per hour and runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. You will greet visitors, assist residents and families, answer phones, sort mail, and manage basic office tasks.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, strong communication, and teamwork. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with at least one year of front desk/reception experience

Qualifications

• Experience at least one year in front desk/reception is preferred.
• Greet visitors, answer phones, sort mail and handle correspondence.
• Be friendly, courteous, patient and able to work with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and family members and provide non-confidential information requested.
• Answer the telephone promptly using the appropriate greeting for the community.
• Sort mail and distribute to appropriate departments.
• Type and file correspondence and other information as needed.
• Escort people to resident suites and other areas when necessary.
• Demonstrate core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
• Meet deadlines, organize and prioritize workload.
