Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations at a senior living community in Seattle. You will drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance while ensuring compliance and safety.

Responsibilities include leading sales/operations strategies, managing budgets, and developing a high-performing team across 18–24 staff. Strong leadership, budgeting, and customer-service focus required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years in operations management with P&L responsibility.
• Proven leadership in customer-service oriented teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional Vice President on sales/ops strategies.
• Regularly communicate community performance with Regional Vice President.
• Supervise Community Sales Manager and assess competitive threats.
• Perform scheduled marketing and sales activities to increase census.
• Manage labor, occupancy, expenses, and quality improvements.
• Assist in development of budgets and capital requirements; forecast expenses.
• Liaise between field operations and Support Center; build relationships.
• Provide on-call and overnight coverage as needed.
• Able to work in various positions; cover PTO/training.
• Build a high-performing team; maintain engagement at or above company standards.
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, develop, and performance manage staff; average size 18–24.
• Maintain a safe working and living environment.
• Conduct monthly resident and staff meetings; communicate effectively.
