Job summary

Better Living in Wisconsin communities seeks a driven clinical leader to oversee resident care and nursing teams. You will ensure regulatory compliance, develop care plans, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and partner with families and physicians to promote health and wellness.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure, CPR/BLS, and strong leadership with excellent communication. This is an on-site, safety-sensitive position offering comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice (compact license may be acceptable).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Prior clinical leadership experience in long-term care or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing and care team to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and health monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and standards.
• Serve as the clinical liaison for residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop and update individualized care plans based on resident needs.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and participate in audits and surveys.
• Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies or changes in resident status.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; support professional development.
