Job summary

We seek an experienced chauffeur to transport residents safely to appointments and activities, assist with assistive devices, and support residents while maintaining a 24-hour operation.

Under the Life Enrichment Coordinator and Concierge Manager, you will assist with activities, keep vehicles in good condition, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend memos, reports, and instructions furnished in written, oral and diagrammatic or schedule form.
• High School education or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's or CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Drive community vehicles to transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist residents on and off vehicles and with assistive devices.
• Maintain travel logs and vehicle inspection/daily maintenance logs.
• Report hazards, accidents, or needed repairs to supervisor.
• Assist with activities as time permits and attend training as needed.
• Communicate effectively, maintaining community hospitality towards residents and staff.
