Job summary

Truewood by Merrill, Keller is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for the second shift (2pm–10pm) to support residents in a warm, family-driven community. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor well-being, and document care provided in daily progress reports.

Qualifications include state-certified caregiver training or CNA certification, recent caregiving experience, and the ability to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
