Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a dedicated Senior Living Caregiver in Auburn, WA, for weekend nights. The role supports residents with daily activities, medication management, and progress reporting in a caring community environment.

The position emphasizes dignity, individual needs, and compassionate service within a family-owned company. Applicants should have caregiver training or CNA credentials, and be able to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as required by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of caregiver experience.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or as needed (chart by exception).

Our Caregivers:

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
