Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Anthem is seeking empathetic Caregivers/Med Techs to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. You will document progress and communicate needs to the care team, in a setting that values dignity and individual care.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• AZ Caregiver certification or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Education

AZ Caregiver certification

Two years caregiver experience

First aid/CPR certification within 30 days
