Job summary

Oakmont of Folsom is a premier senior living community seeking a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and daily care services. The role emphasizes enhancing independence and quality of life in line with our mission and values.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong desire to care for the elderly. Training is provided, and adherence to health and safety protocols is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as defined in care plans.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while upholding self-respect, dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected changes in residents’ condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
