Job summary

Oakmont of Brookside, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate personal care. The role supports independence and quality of life on a senior living campus in California.

You will work with a team to respond promptly to resident needs, maintain safety, and communicate changes to supervisors. Training is provided, with strong emphasis on dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination and health-safety requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as specified in the resident’s care plan.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
