Job summary

Pacific Living Centers, Inc. seeks a dedicated Universal Caregiver to support residents in an Assisted Living/Residential Care setting. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health changes, and communicate observations to the team to ensure appropriate actions.

Responsibilities include ADLs, medication setup after training, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Training is provided; prior experience is not required, and ongoing education is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training with seniors is desirable.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required; ongoing training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, meals) with compassion.
• Perform medication setup and administration after training.
• Update resident records promptly according to policy.
• Report changes in physical or emotional condition to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; housekeeping, laundry, dining areas, and kitchens.
• Prepare and cook food per posted menus; assist with serving meals and beverages.
• Assist with daily activities, document participation, and attend trainings.
