Job summary

StoryPoint Hickory Hill is seeking an Universal Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized assistance to residents. You will bathe, groom, dress, and transport residents while maintaining safety and dignity.

The role requires CPR/First Aid, TB clearance, and the ability to work rotating weekends and holidays in a senior living community. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication protocols, dining support, and documenting care plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Healthcare or geriatrics experience preferred
• Must score 85 on Skills Test
• Desire to work with geriatric population essential
• Caregiver Certification at Directed Care Level AZ only
• Training per state requirements
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification
• Must have TB clearance
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean residents by bed bath, shower, and/or whirlpool
• Assist with grooming including teeth, hair, nails, and makeup for residents
• Assist residents with dressing and presenting neatly
• Make beds, change linens, and tidy rooms
• Assist with dining setup and feeding for residents needing help
• Follow medication administration protocols for each resident
• Answer emergency calls promptly
• Assist with toileting needs and mobility as directed
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities to nurse or Executive Director
• Maintain residents' privacy and dignity, respect rights and preferences
• Provide activity programming and support for daily living activities
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge processes
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of care areas and equipment

Skills
