Job summary

The Ivy at Berkeley is seeking a compassionate Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and to promote independence within a warm senior living community. You will work from individualized care plans and maintain safety and confidentiality for all residents.

We welcome applicants 18+, with a High School Diploma or GED, and a strong desire to care for the elderly. Training is provided; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and privacy.
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with staff.
