Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with activities of daily living and work as part of a caring team. The role emphasizes person-centered care and collaboration with nurses and other Partners to enhance residents' quality of life.

Positions include 1st shift, 2nd shift, and PRN with starting pay of $15.00 per hour, with increases based on experience. Benefits and growth opportunities are available across Ohio locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, dressing) with compassion.
• Provide supervision or non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfers as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate with residents' needs and team structure.
• Work under the supervision of the nurse in charge.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.
