Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate individuals to join our Assisted Living Resident Assistant team. You will help residents with Activities of Daily Living and contribute to a warm, family-like campus environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification: First Aid training or course.
• Experience in assisted living or caregiving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene, bathing and dressing.
• Support transfer and ambulation as needed under supervision.
• Assist with daily tasks such as laundry and room organization.
• Communicate with residents and team to coordinate care and needs.
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff to ensure resident safety.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and follow procedures.
