Job summary

MorningStar at Arcadia is seeking an Assisted Living Coordinator in Phoenix to lead caregiving staff, coordinate resident plans, and ensure quality care for residents. The role requires overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and monitoring resident needs in line with state regulations and company policy.

The position offers full-time employment with a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule Sunday through Thursday, and a salary range of $57,000–$59,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health-related experience in long-term care or assisted living supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procurement manuals, etc.
• Successful completion of state approved medication administration training and a current first aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and schedule caregivers and Med Techs.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert Wellness Director to changes in condition.
• Act as liaison with families and community providers.
• Manage staffing by interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling.
• Develop and update resident negotiated service plans and assessments with the Wellness Director.
• Maintain accurate records and Daily Log entries; monitor infection control guidelines.
• Prepare and administer medications according to procedure.
• Conduct change of condition assessments and bi-annual service plan meetings.
• Ensure regular resident suite checks and timely response to emergency alerts.
• Report incidents of suspected resident abuse and complete incident reports within 24 hours.
