Covenant Living seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to support campus cleaning and light maintenance, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with routine upkeep.

The ideal candidate has high school basics, reliable English communication, and an interest in working with older adults. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a schedule that may require weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Some high school education is preferred.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Dependability and ability to organize daily cleaning schedules with limited supervision.
• Interest in working with older adults is desirable.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following schedule and standards.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs, toilets, and batteries.
• Clean inside and outside areas per department standards.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, and vacuuming.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills and deep cleaning when needed.
• Move furniture as required and assist in resident transfers.
• Participate in linen program and bed making as needed.
• Observe and report facility repairs or safety concerns.
• Receive campus supplies and assist with deliveries as required.
• Participate in campus snow and ice salting as needed.
