Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties in our senior living communities. The role requires flexibility for different shifts, including weekends and holidays, and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

You will collaborate across departments, identify issues, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and comfortable environments for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits or related experience.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting essential.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions; write routine reports.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammed instructions and work with diverse teams.
• Enjoys helping others while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Identify and report broken equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe per regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
