Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Retirement Counselor to assist with resident onboarding, lead generation, and admissions processes. This role emphasizes strong customer service, community outreach, and maintaining positive relations with families and residents.

You will work to maximize occupancy, follow up on leads, and present clear benefits of our senior living community while coordinating with front office and events.

Qualifications

• 60+ college units completed; healthcare or senior services preferred.
• Experience with older adults is preferred.
• Flexible to relocate and travel as needed for the position.
• Knowledge of strategic marketing plans and community outreach.
• Compassionate and uplifting attitude toward seniors.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum occupancy and meet monthly targets.
• Follow up with leads and develop resources using CRM.
• Present community benefits effectively to prospective residents and families.
• Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor admissions.
• Conduct morning rounds to ensure facilities are tour-ready.
• Follow up on leads, tours, reservations, and inquiries.
• Assist with administrative tasks and admissions paperwork.
• Attend community events and family Potlucks.
• Write press releases and promote community events.
• Maintain liaison with families and residents.
