Erickson Senior Living is seeking an Activities Associate for Maris Grove in Glen Mills, PA. You will co-lead social activities for Intermission participants and deliver person-centered programming tailored to residents with dementia.

The role requires creativity, patience, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. Compensation starts at $17/hour, with benefits and growth opportunities as part of a larger senior-living network.

Qualifications

• Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia.
• Programming/activity experience is preferred.
• Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants
• Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident
• Design and implement creative programming
• Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs
• Engage in mealtime preparations
• Complete daily attendance records
• Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants
