Job summary

Belmont Village Buckhead seeks an Activity Program Enrichment Leader to promote socialization, growth, and lifelong learning for residents in Independent and Assisted Living. You will plan and conduct engaging activities, support new resident transitions, and help coordinate outings and events.

The role values reliability, empathy, teamwork, and a growth mindset, with a schedule that may include weekends and a requirement for effective communication in English.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching engaging activity programs with small groups or individuals in our Independent and Assisted Living community.
• Providing one-on-one engagement with new residents to assist their transition into the community.
• Maintaining bulletin boards to promote activities and events within the community.
• Preparing materials and conducting research to lead life-long learning activities that reflect Belmont Village standards for Whole Brain Fitness.
• Assisting with tracking resident participation and maintaining compliance-related documentation.
• Assisting with planning and coordination for resident outings and events.
