Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Activity Program Enrichment Leader to promote socialization and development for residents across Independent and Assisted Living communities. You will help plan, set up, and lead engaging activities reflecting residents' diverse interests, values, and beliefs.

The role requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and strong teamwork, empathy, and hospitality. You will work a full-time schedule (9:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with coursework in recreation therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating and leading group activities.
• Ability to work the defined schedule including weekends.
• Strong creativity, communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach engaging activity programs with small groups or individuals in Independent and Assisted Living.
• Provide one-on-one engagement with new residents to assist with transition.
• Maintain bulletin boards to promote activities and events.
• Prepare materials and conduct research to lead life-long learning activities aligned with Whole Brain Fitness.
• Assist with tracking resident participation and maintain related documentation.
• Assist with planning and coordination for resident outings and events.

Full Time – 9am-5:30pm, Sunday-Thursday

Part Time – 9am-5:30pm, Friday & Saturday

About The Role

As an Activity ProgramEnrichment Leader with Belmont Village Senior Living, you will promote socialization, growth, learning and development by conducting activities with Independent and Assisted Living residents. You will assist the department manager with planning, setting up and implementing engaging activities that reflect the diverse interests, values and beliefs of the residents. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age. This position requires an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching engaging activity programs with small groups or individual residing in our Independent and Assisted Living community
• Providing one-on-one engagement with new residents assisting with their successful transition into our community
• Maintaining bulletin boards as needed to effectively promote activities and events within the community
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging life-long learning activities that align with the Belmont Village standards for Whole Brain Fitness
• Assisting with tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation
• Assisting with planning and coordination for resident outings and events
