Bluestone Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an Activities Director to lead our activities program in a senior living setting. You will design, implement, and oversee activities that enhance residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being, while guiding a team of activity staff.

The role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for working with diverse populations and a commitment to resident-centered care

Responsabilités

• Design and implement a diverse range of activity programs tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents.
• Evaluate and adapt programs based on resident feedback and performance metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of activity support staff.
• Conduct assessments to identify residents' interests, strengths, and areas for growth.
• Foster a fun, engaging, positive and inclusive environment where residents feel encouraged to participate.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
• Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding residents' progress and involvement in activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs, utilizing resident outcomes and feedback to drive improvements.
• Prepare reports on program effectiveness, participation rates, and resident satisfaction for management review.
• Assist in the development and management of the activity therapy budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
