Ivy Park at San Jose, operated by Ivy Living, is seeking an Activity Director to organize and direct engaging activities for residents, promoting independence and quality of life. You’ll manage budgets and schedules, lead a team, and coordinate excursions that enrich daily living for seniors.

Responsibilities include leading activities, recruiting and supervising staff and volunteers, ensuring safety, and collaborating with other departments.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires current Class C license with Passenger Endorsement (Class B preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience in providing planned activities and evaluating residents’ needs.
• Prefer one year of experience supervising and managing employees and volunteers.
• Flexibility in work schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends, and extra shifts.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB tests).
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide an engaging, creative social atmosphere and promote resident participation via scheduled activities.
• Actively engage in residents’ activities by leading and encouraging participation.
• Recruit, develop, manage and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Promote teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
