Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking an experienced, energetic, and creative Activity Director to join our team of dedicated staff. Qualifications

• Activity Director certification/license required.
• Previous Activity Director experience is a MUST!
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with seniors.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement engaging daily activities that meet the physical, emotional, social, and recreational needs of residents.
• Develop creative programs that encourage socialization, entertainment, relaxation, and quality of life.
• Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and group activities to promote resident participation.
• Lead, supervise, and provide direction to Activities Department staff.
• Work closely with residents, families, and other departments to ensure activities are meaningful and enjoyable.
• Maintain activity calendars, participation records, and required documentation.
• Demonstrate creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
