Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking an experienced Activity Director to join our team in Pinehurst, NC. This full-time role focuses on creating meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents and leading the Activities Department with creativity and enthusiasm.

You will plan daily activities, coordinate events, maintain calendars and records, and collaborate with residents, families, and other departments to ensure enjoyable programs that enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• Activity Director certification/license required.
• Previous Activity Director experience is a MUST!
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with seniors.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking an experienced, energetic, and creative Activity Director to join our team!

We are looking for a passionate individual who enjoys working with seniors and is dedicated to creating meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong leadership skills to our Activities Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and implement engaging daily activities that meet the physical, emotional, social, and recreational needs of our residents.
• Develop creative programs that encourage socialization, entertainment, relaxation, and overall quality of life.
• Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and group activities to promote resident participation.
• Lead, supervise, and provide direction to Activities Department staff.
• Work closely with residents, families, and other departments to ensure activities are meaningful and enjoyable.
• Maintain activity calendars, participation records, and required documentation.
• Demonstrate creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
