Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking an experienced Activity Director to join our team in Pinehurst, NC. This full-time role focuses on creating meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents and leading the Activities Department with creativity and enthusiasm.

You will plan daily activities, coordinate events, maintain calendars and records, and collaborate with residents, families, and other departments to ensure enjoyable programs that enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• Activity Director certification/license required.
• Previous Activity Director experience is a MUST!
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with seniors.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement engaging daily activities that meet the needs of residents.
• Develop programs that encourage socialization, entertainment, relaxation, and quality of life.
• Coordinate special events, holidays, and group activities to promote participation.
• Lead, supervise, and provide direction to Activities Department staff.
• Work closely with residents, families, and other departments to ensure meaningful activities.
• Maintain activity calendars, participation records, and required documentation.
• Demonstrate creativity and strong organizational skills, and work independently.
