Ivy Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator for a temporary position in Vista, CA. The role supports Traditions Memory Care by organizing and promoting activities to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include coordinating engaging events, maintaining safety, and facilitating resident participation. Requires high school diploma and MS Office proficiency; a driving license is preferred for transporting residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year coordinating activities with seniors.
• Current Class C driver license preferred for resident transport.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• COVID-19 PPE and screening may be required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere with activities and excursions.
• Promote resident participation through planned events, games, clubs, and classes.
• Communicate tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain safety for staff, residents, and guests; operate community vehicles.
