Oakmont Senior Living in Burlingame seeks an Activity Assistant to organize and direct engaging activities and excursions that enhance residents' independence and quality of life. The role supports the Activity Director and promotes community participation through diverse programs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and enjoy coordinating with seniors. Proficiency in MS Office and a customer‑friendly, safety‑minded approach are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of activity coordination with seniors.
• Proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, promote and direct activities and excursions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and staff with tact and friendliness.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation across departments.
