Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking an Activity Assistant to organize and promote engaging activities for residents, including excursions, events, and clubs. You will support the Activity Director and help ensure a vibrant, inclusive social environment in the community.

The role requires strong communication, a compassionate approach to seniors, and ability to drive community vehicles when needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred experience coordinating activities for

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere with activities, excursions, and events.
• Recruit, manage, and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety standards.
