Civitas Senior Living in Wimberley, TX is seeking a dedicated Senior Living Activity Assistant to bring joy and daily engagement to our residents through meaningful programs and events. You will host activities, assist with transportation, document events, and support a compassionate team while upholding residents' rights.

Qualifications

• Compassionate spirit with enthusiasm for senior care.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role; degree in psychology or kinesiology preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with residents.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents.
• Use the community vehicle to transport residents as needed.
• Educates, trains, and encourages team members on personalized activity opportunities.
• Meet and greet each resident upon move-in to foster community bonding.
• Plan decorations for common areas and holidays.
• Take attendance and photographs of activities for memories.
• Ensure adherence to regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Attend training sessions and engage in continuous learning.
• Other duties as assigned.
