Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a social/recreational program preferred.
• Knowledgeable about activities such as arts & crafts and enjoys singing and dancing.
• Responsible, punctual, creative, and able to work independently and with a team.
• Committed to elderly care and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily recreational, physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, group and individual activities while taking into consideration the residents' interest profile.
• Assist with special family and resident events to recognize secular, religious, national and indigenous holidays, birthdays and theme parties.
• Attend all marketing events, residents' parties and family/resident luncheons and/or dinners.
