Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in San Ramon, CA, is seeking an Activity Assistant for part-time hours (9:00 am–5:30 pm). The role supports the Activity Director in planning engaging programs, events, and excursions to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life.

Applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and ideally one year of activity coordination with seniors. A Class C license with Passenger endorsement is preferred, plus proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Possess a valid Class C license; Passenger Endorsement preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere across the community.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule community volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles and support activities and excursions.

Education
