Job summary

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Activity Assistant at StoneCreek of North Richland Hills to create engaging daily programs for residents.

You will host activities, transport residents, and plan events while documenting participation and maintaining safety and compliance. A background in psychology or kinesiology is a plus, with at least 1 year of relevant experience and a valid driver's license. Residency in Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate spirit with enthusiasm for senior care.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role; psychology or kinesiology background preferred.
• Ability to connect and engage with residents.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with technology.

Responsibilities

• Active engagement: Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents.
• Safe transportation: Use the community vehicle to transport residents as needed.
• Team development: Educates, trains, and encourages team members on activities.
• Warm welcome: Meet and greet each resident on move-in to foster community.
• Event planning: Decorate common areas for events and holidays.
• Activity documentation: Take attendance and photographs of daily activities.
• Compliance mastery: Understand and adhere to regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Professional development: Attend training sessions and pursue continuous learning.
• Other duties as assigned.
