Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management's Eden Vista of Green Bay is seeking an Activity Assistant to organize and participate in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions and group activities. You will document participation and outcomes in the resident records.

The role focuses on creating joyful, independent, and wellness-oriented experiences, with opportunities to design programs that encourage socialization and daily living skills improvement for our residents.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for working with seniors and people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for resident interactions.
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing daily activities.
• Maintain calm and caring demeanor under pressure.
• Organizational skills to manage schedules and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement activities meeting residents' physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs.
• Create environments that emphasize joy, independence and wellness daily.
• Design programs to encourage socialization among residents.
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment to residents; assist daily living skills.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports for residents.
• Keep activity areas safe and well maintained.
• Inspire enthusiasm to motivate resident participation.
