Job summary

Eden Vista Strongsville is an industry-leading assisted living community in Strongsville, Ohio, seeking an Activities Assistant (Part Time) to support residents through diverse activities, one-to-one interactions, and group programs. This role focuses on joy, independence, and wellness within a caring, home-like environment.

The Activities Assistant will document progress in the resident records, assist with program design, and collaborate with staff to maintain safe and engaging activity

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs

• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, fulfillment, and daily living skills improvement
• Prepare and maintain reports on residents’ progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage participation

Activity Assistant (Part Time)

Schedule:

We can offer a full-time position to candidates who are amenable to working rotating weekends as an Activities Assistant, with occasional weekday shifts as a Dietary Aide.

PAY:

$17.00/HR

The Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.

Job functions will include:
