The Northbridge Companies in Brunswick, ME is seeking an Activity Assistant to work with the Engagement Director to create joyful experiences that support residents’ physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being, making our community vibrant and engaging. This full-time role includes planning diverse activities, coordinating trips, and building a warm, inclusive environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills are required; weekend/evening shifts apply, and a $1,000

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related coursework is a plus.
• Passionate about seniors and building connections.
• Creative and able to plan and lead activities for different interests and abilities.
• Organized with attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run a variety of activities with the Engagement Director, including exercise programs, arts, trips, and events.
• Connect with residents personally to ensure activities are enjoyable and meaningful.
• Help plan trips outside the community and ensure safety and happiness during outings.
• Create a warm, inclusive environment where residents can make friends and discover new interests.
• Keep records of participant engagement and feedback to improve programs.
• Share creative ideas to keep programs exciting and aligned with residents' interests.
