Courtney Manor in Bad Axe, MI is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activity Director and oversee engaging programs that promote residents' well-being. This on-site, full-time position offers a competitive benefits package and a chance to contribute to a caring community.

Responsibilities include facilitating programs, helping residents get to activities, recording participation, and collaborating with staff and volunteers to enhance resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in activities, recreation therapy, and long-term care preferred.
• Computer skills are required.
• Meets state and federal criminal background check requirements.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates activity programs as planned to meet the Residents' needs and interests.
• Assist Residents to and from activity programs and outings as scheduled.
• Maintains good rapport with families and encourages family involvement.
• Records Residents' attendance and participation in activities.
• Provide input to assessment and evaluation of Residents' participation.
