Qualifications

• Experience and/or training in long term care setting preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual and group recreational/social activity for residents as an intricate part of the total resident care.
• Assist with meaningful and interesting social and recreational activities for residents, geared to their age group.
• Supervision and protection of residents during activities as well as compliance with safety regulations and policies.
• Care in use of supplies and equipment.
