Arbor Springs West Des Moines is a Montessori-Inspired Living community that provides compassionate care to our senior living and memory care residents. The Resident Care Team supports individuals with meaningful activities and social engagement, while ensuring safety and dignity.

You will supervise activities, help with supplies and equipment, and work with a highly engaged staff in a setting that values respect and quality of life.

Formación

• Experience and/or training in long term care setting preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with individual and group recreational/social activities for residents.
• Supervision and protection of residents during activities and compliance with safety regulations.
• Care in use of supplies and equipment.
• Follow Montessori-Inspired Living principles in daily care.

General Purpose

Assist with individual and group recreational/social activity for residents as an intricate part of the total resident care. Assist with meaningful and interesting social and recreational activities for residents, geared to their age group. Supervision and protection of residents during activities as well as compliance with safety regulations and policies. Care in use of supplies and equipment.
