TerraBella Senior Living in Burlington, NC is seeking an Activities Assistant/Driver to support residents in Active Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with activities planning, transport residents to events, and help ensure safe vehicle operation within the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with acceptable driving record per Federal DOT regulations.
• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Help provide quality activities to both AL and Memory Care residents.
• Support Activity Directors in scheduling and executing activities for residents.
• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
