Job summary

Focus Health Network, LLC is seeking an Activities Aide to lead engaging programs that keep residents active, social, and inspired. You’ll run group activities, spend time with residents one-on-one, and help plan themed events.

This role requires energy, creativity, and genuine empathy for the elderly, with basic scheduling software skills to track participation. You will work on-site in a senior living setting, assisting the Activities Director and contributing to a friendly, inclusive

Qualifications

Be upbeat, patient and able to motivate others to participate in activities.
Enjoy hobbies such as music, arts, crafts, gardening or games and share those skills.
Demonstrate empathy for elderly residents and adapt activities for varying abilities.
Basic computer skills for scheduling and documenting participation; ability to stand/move for long periods.

Responsibilities

Lead the Fun: facilitate group activities like arts & crafts, bingo, fitness, music and trivia.
One-on-One Connection: spend time with residents individually, reading or conversing.
Plan & Promote: assist the Activities Director with ideas and decorate for events.
Documentation: keep simple logs of resident participation to track social engagement.
