Job summary

SouthPointe Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an Activities Leader in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role involves delivering engaging activities to residents, planning events, and coordinating with other departments to support a high quality of life for seniors.

You will lead group and individual activities, assist with outings, and help maintain schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare-related work or life experiences preferred.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Must have an active state driver’s license.
• CDL license may be required to drive a vehicle seating 16 passengers or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of activities for residents both one-to-one and in groups.
• Escort residents to and from activities and assist with scheduling events.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate diversified, resident-centered activities.
• Coordinate holiday/special events, outings, and family/community involvement.
• Maintain activity documentation and communicate plans with departments.
