Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ohio is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant for Assisted Living. This role supports residents with planned activities, transports them to events, and provides one-on-one engagement to those unable to attend group activities.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours, day or evening shifts, competitive pay ($12-$13.80 per hour) and benefits including PTO, holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current and Valid First Aid Training (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to pass activity certification program (with training upon hire).
• Onsite presence required.

Responsibilities

• Implement planned activities as outlined on calendar of events.
• Transport residents to and from planned activities in and outside the facility.
• Provide one on one activities with residents unable to attend group activities, when time allows.
• Maintain documentation of resident's participation in activities.
• Organize activity in event of a cancelled event.
• Refers residents/families to the Director of Housing if unable to resolve any resident/family concern.
• Develops and maintains a good rapport with other departments to ensure that a team effort is achieved.
• Assists residents by visiting, writing letters, running errands, communicating with others, providing music, etc. as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
