Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is hiring a Lifestyle Assistant/ Activities Assistant/ Driver to support seniors at our Cypress, California community. You will help plan and lead activities, transport residents to appointments and events, and encourage engagement in daily life activities.

Training is provided, with competitive pay and benefits after 30 days. Schedule: Sundays and Mondays, 8:00am–4:30pm, with opportunities to participate in additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screen including Physical, TB, and drug test.
• Current basic first aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs.
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from locations such as medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
